Xtreme Troubleshooting
Convert Your Trial Copy
If a customer gets the error that their serial number has expired then they probably have a trial copy of Xtreme that needs to be converted.
The customer will need their Xtreme Serial Number and Key Code in order to convert the trial. If they do not have the email that tells them this information then they can go to the black Xtreme control console, click Options, and select About Xtreme from the General Options dropdown menu.
The Xtreme program must not be running while it is being converted. Once the program is closed completely then the customer (or tech support, if a tech is going to convert it for them) needs to go to http://www.fone.net/llc/artera/xtreme.html and scroll down to:

Select the customer's
member company and click:

Enter the Serial Number and Key Code and click the Submit button.
Reinstall Xtreme
You may need to reinstall Xtreme. You do not have to redownload the software in order to reinstall the program.
Open My Computer and open Drive C, there should be a folder called something like Xtreme_Setup--open that folder..
Look for setup.exe and double-click. That should start the InstallShield. Look for the choice to install.
Follow the prompts to install the program. You should get a screen that shows the username (that may need to be entered), the serial number, and key code.
It should be similar to when the program was installed originally. Click here to go to view the Xtreme Setup instructions.
Using Xtreme with Internet Explorer 7
If a customer is using Internet Explorer 7 (beta version) and Xtreme is getting the error "the parameter is incorrect," or similar errors, use this fix. When IE7 is no longer in beta testing this problem should be resolved (possibly with an Xtreme update).
Xtreme Email Compression
If a customer is having email trouble while Xtreme is running it may be caused by the Compress Email option in Xtreme.
To uncheck this option open the black Xtreme control console and click Options.
In the General Options dropdown menu click Performance.
Uncheck Compress Email (POP3); click OK.
Xtreme Updates
To check for updates open the black Xtreme Control Console and click the Options button.
In the General Options dropdown menu select Automatic Updates.
Click the Check Now button.
