2.  From the Mail menu, choose Preferences.

3.  Click the Accounts button. 

To create a new account, click the plus sign (+) button in the bottom-left corner of the window. 

To remove an account highlight the one you wish to remove and click the minus sign (-).

Previous versions of Mac Mail may look slightly different.

4.  Choose POP from Account Type menu.  Enter a name for your account (such as "Home Account") in the Account Description field. 

Fill in the boxes for Email Address and Full Name.

Incoming Mail Server is pop3.fone.net

Enter your username (first part of your email address) and your password.  Make sure you don't enter any capital letters or spaces.

Outgoing Mail Server is smtp.fone.net  *

*  You may have been told to use smtpwb.fone.net for your outgoing mail server.  If that is what you entered for outgoing mail server you will need to click the Options button and make sure smtpwb.fone.net is entered as Outgoing Mail Server on this screen. 

In the Authentication menu select Password and enter your username and password (it should be the same name and password you use to check your mail).  Click OK on all windows.
