Rainbow's Hi-Stakes Gambler

Ace and his new owner Jay have spent almost a year getting to know one another and hunting whenever possible. Life in Kansas seems to have suited Ace very well and he has grown into his own. Ace is about 19 1/2" tall and really has a beautiful head and coat. After not having been shown for about a year he reentered the show ring at Garden City Kansas KC shows March 8-9, 2003. He hadn't been worked since his showing at the ABC National Specialty Show in 2001 but had no problem going right into the ring with Jerry and then into BoB with his owner Jay. Ace took winners dog and Best of Breed both days and showed well in group each day. Jay has promised to take him to classes so Ace can finish his CH.

After trialing the fall of 2001, Ace showed well at the 2001 ABC National Specialty Show in Fort Smith, Arkansas. While he didn't win he did show well enough to get placements in both his classes.

Ace seems to love the life as the only dog and we are very pleased with his attitude now. Turning Ace over to Jay was the right decision for Ace. Jay and Ace make a great team and we look forward to seeing Ace more frequently in the ring and hopefully in the field as well.
