We needed electricity in the dome for lights, fans, etc. so we laid an electrical conduit from the house to the dome and installed outlets. We hand dug about 200 ft of trenches to bring water, propane and electricity to the dome. We installed 2 30,000 BTU ventless propane garage heaters to heat the dome at night in the winter and keep it above freezing. Later we added a phone and a satellite dish because we spend so much time in the dome.
