Ms. Sandoval was elected for a two year term and chose not to run in 2006. Mr. Kawanbe resigned in 2007 because his out-of-town work caused him to miss meetings. Edward Roybal was appointed to fill the remainder of his term.
Trustee Roybal at his first regular meeting in February 2007. Mr. Roybal is a long-time Blanca resident and has served on the Board of Trustees before.
Mayor Myrrl Smith presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Ms. Sandoval and Ms. Joanna (Josi) Frost for their dedication and work during their terms of office as Town Trustees. Ms. Frost, elected in 2002, resigned her position in February 2006 when she moved from Blanca. |
